The Dowerin Community Resource Centre is a
Not - For - Profit community based
organisation run by a Coordinator,
Coordinators Assistant, Volunteers and
Management Committee.
The Centre provides local access to
technology such as videoconferencing
facilities, information, training and other
services in small rural and remote
communities around Western Australia.
We are situated in the old Challenge Bank Building, which is prime location for us.
The network currently consists of 103
Community Resource Centres in Western Australia.
Other services we provide include the Westpac Instore Bank, Westnet Agency,
Centrelink Access Point, Medicare Easy Claim,
The Despatch (local newspaper), Photo Kiosk, Community Library and Visitors Centre.

Public Library
The State Library makes available, on behalf of all public libraries in the state, access to the following online resources: Britannica Library Edition Online, Gale's Health and Wellness Resource Center, Ebsco's Australia/New Zealand Reference Centre, Business Source Elite, Novelist and Consumer Health Complete. All public library members can access these useful resources through their local library or from home using the barcode on their public library membership card. Pubic Library Membership Cards are available from the Dowerin Community Resource Centre.
