Dowerin Community Childcare
The Dowerin Community Childcare is a not for profit group established under the Shire of Dowerin. All money raised will be kept in Trust with the Shire to be used with whichever form of Childcare Centre is started in Dowerin to purchase toys, bedding, equipment etc.
If you think you may use childcare in Dowerin now or in the future or would like to support the group in any way it would be greatly appreciated.

Dowerin Men's Shed
Dowerin Men's Shed is a group of men who get together for a cuppa, a chat and/or to work on projects.
They meet each Tuesday afternoon at the shed of Mary Carroll's in Jones St, Dowerin.

Dowerin District Museums
The Dowerin Museum Committee are a group of enthusiastic volunteers who help with the general upkeep and running of the Dowerin District Museum, a house built in 1915 located at 16 Cottrell Street Dowerin. The museum consists of a saddlery shop along with other artifacts from earlier times. For further information click here.

Dowerin & Regions - Men Of The Trees
DOWERIN & REGIONS-MEN OF THE TREES is a group of women and men who share the aim of promoting the planting of trees and other aspects of environmental care.
Meetings are held at Amery Acres (5km east of Dowerin) approx. four times a year and working bees as required.
Amery Acres has a lodge which is available for use by community groups with sleeping capacity of eleven persons.
