Pensioners and seniors who meet certain criteria and hold valid cards are entitled to claim a rebate of up to 50% off the current years rates and emergency services levy charge (ESL) or may defer payments of those rates.
In order to qualify for a pension/senior rebate you must be the owner and occupier of the property at 1st July of the financial year.
Concessions available
Seniors card only holders are entitled to receive up to 25% rebate on rates and ESL
Seniors card and Commonwealth Seniors Health Card holders are entitled to receive up to 50% rebate on rates and ESL
Pensioner Concession Card or State Concession Card holders are entitled to received up to 50% on rates and ESL.
