Dowerin Seniors Take Top Honours at Aged Care Games

Congratulations to the Dowerin Companion Club who represented Dowerin in the Aged Care Games last week in York. This annual event was organised by the Seniors' Recreation Council and teams from Northam, York, Beverley, Tammin, Dowerin and Quairading took part.

Following a series of Olympic Style competitions the Dowerin Companion Club reigned supreme with 338 points, closely followed by Tammin Seniors Centre on 304 points. The community of Dowerin are extremely proud of those who took part and wish them all the best when they travel to retain their title in 2011.
