Action packed in Dowerin over the next few months!

As the Winter Sports season draws to an end and our A Grade Footy Players and Hockey team march on into finals the social calendar is filling up for the local community.

The Annual Dowerin GWN Machinery Field Days is only a couple of weeks away and this years event promises to be bigger than ever with some big names (Danny Green) and big events (Road to Tamworth heats) taking place - not to mention oodles of that all important new Machinery!! We will also be hosting the first Field Day Country Campout. Please contact Jenna on 96311021 for further details.

Over the next few weeks we've got a range of events and activities for our local seniors. On Monday 23rd August a nutrition seminar will take place and a day of pampering and information is planned as park of Stay on Your Feet Week celebrations on 16th September.

Further to this we have various medal counts, sporting wind ups, a cooking class, the drama play, dance workshops etc... on the horizon! Not to mention the start of summer sports whereby tennis, bowls, cricket and social basketball will be back! Keep an eye on Upcoming Events and Activities to keep up to date with what is going on in your community!
