We ARE rural women – the mum’s who hustle, the girl bosses, the business women, the stay at home mums, the working mums, the grandmothers, the single ladies, the teens, twenties and all in between.

The Shire of Dowerin is excited to team up with the Dowerin GWN7 Machinery field days to host the Dowerin GWN7 Machinery Field Days WE ARE RURAL WOMEN Day on Wednesday 24^th March 2021 commencing at 9am till 4:30pm, followed by a sundowner with entertainment by Georgie Sadler.

We have lined up an incredible list of inspirational women to talk health, finance, fashion and business including an MC and presenter with a link to Dowerin and a well sought after key note speaker who can assist, encourage and inspire any woman in business.

We promised a packed day of information, inspiration, and fun at the We are Rural Women event – so who’s joining @SociallyEm and @the_aussiemummy?

• Get to know your Body – We’re excited to welcome Emily Gray from Emily Gray Physiotherapy & Pilates, Deanna Hansen from Hansen Chiropractic and Samantha Smith from Smith & Co Naturopathic Medicine to touch on women’s health.

• Talking Finance –Julia Schortinguis is a financial expert who will discuss the topic of economic independence, what it is and provide tips for good money habits.

• The Panel – we have an incredible team of women leading the way in the Wheatbelt. We’ll be hosting a panel of successful and interesting women from the Wheatbelt; facilitated by our very own Wendy Newman, The Panel is Jodie Schell (Lot39 Store & Cafe), Tracy Lefroy (Moora Shire President) and Nadine McMorran (DEM Event Coordinator).
