Please note that the Shire is taking the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) threat seriously and in light of keeping our community safe, have made the decision to cancel all non-compulsory gatherings until the 30th of April. This includes, but is not limited to; The Dowerin Triathlon 21/03 and Bring the Rain 09/04. The Changemakers Forum and Bring the Rain Events will be postponed until a later date and the Dowerin Triathlon will return in 2021. The RSL has advised that ANZAC Day ceremonies will not proceed.
We are closely following and monitoring this situation, and will review mid-April. We have not made these decisions lightly, and apologise to our community for any inconvenience this may cause.
