Getting around

The best way to get around the Shire of Dowerin is by car. The area has a good network of primary and secondary sealed roads to and from most towns. There is also a network of unsealed well maintained roads.

These can be slippery when wet and dusty when dry. The road conditions should be taken into consideration when driving on these roads.

Exercise caution at cross roads and rail crossings as there are many trains and large trucks that cross through the region.
