Fire Pit Use Disclaimer – Shire of Dowerin Short Stay Accommodation
Guests are advised that a communal fire pit is available for use at the Shire of Dowerin Short Stay Accommodation. Use of the fire pit is strictly at the guest’s own risk.
By using the fire pit, guests acknowledge and agree to the following:
- The fire pit is to be used in accordance with all displayed safety signage and instructions at all times
- Use is permitted for registered guests only and within the designated area
- Fires must not be lit during Total Fire Ban days or Restricted Burning Periods in accordance with local regulations
- No flammable liquids or accelerants are to be used to start or maintain a fire
- Fires must be supervised at all times and fully extinguished after use
- Children and pets must be supervised at all times near the fire pit
- Guests are responsible for ensuring the fire is used safely and does not pose a risk to people, property, or the surrounding environment
The Shire of Dowerin accepts no liability for any injury, loss, or damage sustained as a result of the use or misuse of the fire pit.
Failure to comply with these conditions may result in the immediate revocation of fire pit use privileges and may lead to further action.
Dowerin Commercial Hotel
Traditional country hotel style accommodation is offered at a competitive rate at the Dowerin Commercial Hotel, perfect for groups, tradies and those travelling through or working in the region.
The Hotel is located on the main street in Dowerin in close proximity to shops and services.

Dowerin Motel & Caravan Park
The Dowerin Motel and Caravan Park is owned and run by the Dowerin Roadhouse located on the Dowerin - Goomalling Road.
All motel units are one bedroom (sleeps 2) self contained units.

Minnivale 48 Hour Rest Area
The siding of Minnivale offers a simple rest area perfect for those wishing to get off the beaten track and experience all that the natural bush has to offer.
Please note the Minnivale 48 Hour Rest Area is not serviced however, an RV Dump Point, Toilet and picnic facilities are available for your convenience.
There is no charge for the use of this facility although there is a donation box on site if you wish to make a donation.
