DOWERIN TRAIN STATION - DEMOLITION

The Public Transport Authority of Western Australia (PTA) own and manage the Dowerin Train Station. The PTA has made the decision to demolish property no longer utilised and maintained across WA.

The Shire of Dowerin received courtesy notification regarding the demolition of the Dowerin Train Station on Tuesday, 7 June.

Works will commence on Monday 13 June and will take approximately two weeks. The sub-contractors are licensed asbestos removalists and there will also be a Rail Protection Officer on site throughout the works. Noise from the site works will be limited from 7am to 5pm.
