The Shire of Dowerin advises that Cr Adam Metcalf has resigned from Council, effective 23 March 2026.

Adam has served the Dowerin community as an elected member for approximately 11 years. Over that time, he has been actively involved in Council decision-making and has contributed to the direction and growth of the Shire.

Council acknowledges the significant time and commitment that comes with the role, and thanks Adam for his contribution over many years of service.

We wish Adam all the best moving forward.

An Extraordinary Election will be held to fill the vacant position, with further details to be shared soon.
